【摘要】:1.1Thisconsumersafetyspecificationcoversrequirementsforthedesignandperformanceoftoddlerbeds.Italsocontainsrequirementsforlabelingandinstructionalmaterial.1.2Thisconsumersafetyspecificationisintendedtominimizeincidentstochildrenresultingfromnormaluseandreasonablyforeseeablemisuseoftoddlerbeds.Itdoesnotaddressincidentsresultingfromalterationorunreasonablemisuse.1.3Forthepurposesofthisconsumersafetyspecification,atoddlerbedisabedthatissizedtoacceptafull-sizecribmattressandisintendedforusebyachildnotlessthan15monthsofageandwhoweighsnomorethan50lb(27.7kg).1.4Notoddlerbedproducedaftertheapprovaldateofthisconsumersafetyspecificationshallindicatecompliancewiththisspecification,eitherbylabelorbyothermeans,unlessitconformstoalltherequirementscontainedherein.1.5Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.TheSIvaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section,ofthisconsumersafetyspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
