【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesbasicrequirementsformicrobiologicalsafetycabinets(MSCs)withrespecttosafetyandhygiene.ThisEuropeanStandardsetstheminimumperformancecriteriaforsafetycabinetsforworkwithmicro-organismsandspecifiestestproceduresformicrobiologicalsafetycabinetswithrespecttoprotectionoftheworkerandtheenvironment,productprotectionandcrosscontamination.Mechanical,electrical,chemicalorradioactivesafetyprecautionsarenotcoveredinthestandardbutarecoveredinEN61010-1,EN292-1andEN292-2(seeBibliography[1],[2]and[3]).ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotcoversafetyprecautionsforaspectsnotassociatedwiththeuseofmicro-organismssuchasthosecoveringmechanicalandelectricalhazards,whicharecoveredinEN61010-1(seeBibliography[1]),nordoesitcoversafetyrequirementsregardingflammablegasandinertgases.NOTESomefeaturesofMSCsinadditiontothoseforperformanceandsafetyaregivenforguidanceinthisEuropeanStandardandinEN12741(seeBibliography[4]).
